This business has been designing and building commercial offices for over 10 years. Family run, their culture is really important to them as they are essentially a company of likeminded people who believe that everyone deserves a great place to work. They are currently looking to add to their Project Team with an individual who is experienced within the area of Commercial Office Design and Build. You will be site-based working alongside the site Project Manager and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities Include: Setting up site and keeping it clean and tidy at all times; Arranging team, site and client meetings; Managing an Information Required Schedule (IRS); Managing all subcontractors and trades on site and overseeing the Health & Safety; Instructing sub-contractors and suppliers on site/project works; Issuing small orders and updating the program of works on a weekly basis; Reviewing and commenting on drawings; Booking of sub-contractors onto the project to meet the program; Snagging and raising issues with works teams.
With up to 3 years’ experience of site working and good capabilities with Microsoft Office you’ll need good communication skills (with both the in-house team and when client facing). An understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations will also be needed along with a general understanding of M&E systems and how they work. You’ll be able to read construction drawings and have a flexible approach to travelling and staying away from home on a regular basis. A full and ideally clean driving licence will be needed.
