This innovative business helps architects and developers simplify interior design and functionality offering a range of concealed frame doorsets, pocket sliding doors and riser doors. The newly created role of Product Development Manager is to ensure their products are cutting edge and the best in the marketplace taking simplicity of use, aesthetic design and cost in balance.

You will be involved in continuously developing existing products using feedback from the market and internal teams and proactively developing the products to make them more user friendly for the installer, improve their aesthetic appeal and identifying cost efficiencies. You will be developing new products from ideas generated by the market, internal teams and management. Finally, you will also be designing bespoke project specific products from scratch.

You’ll be a solutions orientated designer with at least 4 years’ relevant experience, an innovative ideas person who keeps abreast of the trends in the marketplace. Well organised with good time management skills you’ll need to be a good team player with a sense of humour.

Established for over 100 years and recently rebranded, this company has a long history of producing high quality commercial furniture for the workplace. Working as part of a small design team the Design Engineer’s role will involve lots of close communication with both the Production team and external Sales team. You will be engineering new product ranges plus one-off specials and modified products; generating drawings, specifications and associated Bills of Materials; producing presentation work including conceptual models, 2D space plans and graphical documents.

With a degree, HND/HNC, or similar qualification in a related subject you’ll need advanced skills using SolidWorks on a day-to-day basis, ideally for at least 2 years. Previous experience of working in the furniture industry or with CNC machines would be an advantage as would being able to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages (although training can be offered).

This national and international award winning interior design practice specialises in super-prime properties and with a focus on opulent and luxurious interiors, they also provide interiors and house staging to their sister company, a recognised high-end residential development company. Due to the resulting commissions from its recently opened retail store they are seeking an Interior Design Assistant who will be mentored by the practice’s lead interior designer, involved in client meetings, space planning, preparation of design presentations and cost estimates, design specifications, scheduling and site visits.

You will be either a recent design graduate with a minimum of 1 years’ residential work experience or a creative person from a sales background within a soft furnishings retail outlet wanting to move into a design role. CAD and IT literate you will ideally have some architectural knowledge and lighting design experience would be beneficial.

You should have natural gravitas and common sense, able to build and develop relationships through excellent interpersonal skills and have a good sense of colour and style, appreciative of the luxury end of the marketplace. A full UK driving licence will be required along with the availability to travel as projects are spread across a variety of locations.

Our client is seeking a Head of Space Management for their Facilities and Estates team based in Luton. You will be responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service including space planning, space management, reactive and planned maintenance and building works, cleaning, security, stewarding, catering, accommodation and other related matters across all sites.
