They offer a fast paced and friendly environment with a focus on continuous learning and skills development and are seeking a creative and talented individual to oversee the creation of upwards of 20 ranges a year. Applicants should be prepared for a fast turnaround of ideas and solutions.

You will be coordinating the product design process daily. Frequent video chats with the teams in China will be required to coordinate the departments and achieve a fast, accurate and high-quality end result. You will manage one junior designer and also have responsibility for coordinating with freelance designers, managing the design of exhibition stands, creating client presentations and creating collection themes. Additionally, you will be expected to plan timescales, hit deadlines and manage developments to achieve business objectives set by management. There will be travel for sample development in China and Vietnam and to furniture shows.

With a degree in product or furniture design you’ll have 6+ years of experience in full-time design employment along with fluency in SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator plus good knowledge of materials including timber, glass and steel. Strong project management and problem-solving skills will be needed together with good leadership and communication skills (both internally and externally). As well as being creative you’ll possess a strong work ethic, great enthusiasm and be sociable.

This supplier and designer of show homes throughout the UK enjoy an enviable reputation for delivering and installing beautiful interiors to enhance the saleability of homes on every development. They are a large team of passionate, committed professionals who excel in delivering a personable, yet professional service and are currently seeking a Design Account Manager to join the team.

This role requires a strong, driven and experienced sales individual to drive sales and profit with new and existing clients, whilst managing accounts and relationships proactively. Predominately covering the South East region, this is a field-based, customer centric role, in which the ideal candidate will employ a consultative approach, taking their influencing skills to clients directly.

Regularly meeting with customers, you will be equally as comfortable communicating with them on a one to one basis as you would be delivering presentations to a group of clients. The ability to listen, build rapport and use intuitive approaches to manage professional relationships with our highly regarded key accounts is essential to this role.

With a University degree, or the ability to demonstrate a good standard in literacy and numeracy, you’ll ideally come from a property development sales, associated construction industry, supply or interior design sales background. With experience in sales project management you’ll have a good understanding of continuous improvement techniques, lead generation and business development. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentational) will be needed along with the ability to operate self-sufficiently in a principally field based role. You’ll be organised, self-reliant, adept at prioritising, able to meet deadlines, demonstrate the potential to operate at a tactical level and show strategic thinking. Good computer literacy (specifically Excel) will also be needed.

This luxury motor yacht builder started in the early 1960’s and builds motor yachts in both its original base in Peterborough and at another site in the UK. They are currently looking for an Interior Designer to cover maternity leave which will be an initial 3 month contract but may well be extended or become a full-time role. The main remit is to implement the interior style on all new product introductions, liaise with customers for interior schemes for customers requesting that service and CAD modelling of furniture parts.

Degree educated in Interior or Furniture Design your experience should come from the marine, high-end residential or luxury / boutique hotel sectors and include knowledge of CNC furniture construction. IT skills needed are Photoshop and 3D CAD modelling (Solid Edge or similar) and good hand sketching ability is also needed.
