This practice is currently engaged in projects ranging from small refurbishments to large scale high-end residential projects and commercial projects within the UK and Internationally. In this exciting role you will be involved at all stages of the project creating award-winning designs. They have a close knit team and enjoy the social side of work just as much as the professional.

They are looking for an all-round designer with an eye for detail and the ability to question things to create innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate and confident when client facing and presenting both internally and externally.

With a BA(Hons) in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar qualification you’ll have relevant experience working within the residential Interior Design industry for an Architectural or a Design & Build consultancy. You’ll need the ability to create and translate design concepts into 2D and 3D, which is key to communicating schemes to clients and have proven project and pitch experience. Fluency in AutoCAD and Photoshop (ideally also InDesign / SketchUp) plus the ability to sketch and draw and convey ideas by hand or through the use of mixed media will be needed. You’ll also possess knowledge of FF&E and suppliers.

This ambitious company is growing to meet the worldwide demand for its luxury furniture.

With state of the art in-house production facilities and a creative and technical studio they are looking for Project Managers. The successful candidates will manage the engineers within the team and oversee project management and delivery of a projects from conceptual design to handover of iconic yacht and residential projects worldwide.

With at least 5 years’ experience of bespoke furniture making and construction at a luxury level you’ll have the ability to manage furniture projects to a value in excess of £1m from design concept through to client handover. You’ll need excellent leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills plus the ability to plan and schedule with your team so that the client’s expectations are exceeded. Proven experience of 2D CAD software skills (3D Rhino an advantage) will be needed plus the ability to work and travel worldwide outside normal working hours when required.

Also preparing a bill of materials to be sourced and ordered by purchasing.

With at least 5 years’ experience of bespoke furniture making and construction at a luxury level you’ll be fluent in both 2D and 3D CAD software with Rhino being an advantage. You’ll have the ability to work to budgets for completion of engineering drawings and be competent at taking on-site measurements.
