This European luxury furniture and lifestyle retailer has its UK flagship showroom based on the prestigious King’s Road in Chelsea and is growing year on year. Already well known within the residential marketplace, their plans moving forward are to bring on a specialist individual with knowledge of the contract marketplace to help grow business with the A&D community within the hospitality and hotel markets.
The large showroom offers an extensive collection of international designer brands and displays furniture, lighting and rugs as well as a curated selection of home accessories, technology, jewellery and gifts. Showcasing world renowned designers, the showroom regularly hosts product launches, trade presentations and design related events. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and ambitious sales professional with previous experience working with multi-brand furniture and selling to Architects and Designers.
With a proven track record in sales and new business development you’ll have a genuine interest in furniture and interior design and strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills will be needed alongside the ability to operate self-sufficiently in a partly field-based role. You must be enthusiastic, ambitious, creative, sales-driven, team oriented, proactive and highly-organised with the ability to multitask. You’ll also be happy to travel nationwide and also visit their offices in London regularly.
Basic salary is £38,000 to £40,000 plus commission and pension.
