|Title||Design Assistant and Illustrator, Bristol|
|Salary||£22,000 to £24,000 + Pension|
This company specialises within interior architecture for historical and period properties. They work directly with their clients who come to them for their expertise and beautiful pieces of furniture, joinery and workmanship for their Country and London Town Houses across the UK and abroad. Everything they design is completely bespoke, and their modern 12,000 sq.ft. workshop houses a dedicated team of cabinet-makers and finishers.
They currently have a newly created opening for a recent graduate who has great digital skills and can create imagery for client presentations from 2D CAD drawings and to assist the conceptual design team. The ideal candidate will have illustrative / graphical talent and be passionate about interior design with a taste for period buildings and furniture. The role would primarily involve assistance with design presentations to clients, compiling technical drawings, product specifications and reference imagery into a digital document, and producing striking three-dimensional visualisations through digital art software.
It is essential that presentation documents are highly professional and suitably attractive. They will also need to be pulled together to tight deadlines. Therefore, innate organisational ability and visual perfectionism are necessary. It is essential that the candidate has experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, SketchUp, Procreate or Sketchbook, 3DS Max.
Depending on the candidate’s predisposition, obvious opportunities for progression are in interior / furniture design and decorative furnishing design. They are seeking candidates that live locally to their office and would not need to relocate or work remotely.
