|Title||Design Librarian, London|
|Salary||£33,000 to £35,000 + Pension|
This international interior design consultancy handles high-end residential and commercial projects across the globe. Both their residential and hospitality teams are extremely busy at the moment and they are looking for a new Design Librarian, someone with an excellent and in depth knowledge of suppliers for all aspects of interior design from Fabrics and Finishes to Carpets and Ironmongery. Ideally this could be an experienced Senior Designer who is looking for a less stressful role.
They are open to a flexible working week for the right person. This is not a role that will lead to a position as an Interior Designer, however there will be plenty of opportunity to work with the Designers on specific projects, sourcing specific samples and offering advice and assistance.
The aim of this role is the overall supervision and organisation of an extensive library resource centre for the Design and Hospitality Departments. As Librarian you will assume ownership and responsibility for the materials and supplier information being collected, categorized, shared and stored in a user-friendly manner. In addition you will proactively develop ways to service a busy and demanding design team working on a diverse range of fast pace projects. As one of the key interfaces between the Company and the design industry it is imperative that the role is carried out to the highest professional standards.
Salary is £33,000 to £35,000 plus pension. If this job opening sounds of interest please contact Pippa Baker on 01920 486125 for further details, or simply forward your application and CV / portfolio to firstname.lastname@example.org.
