This bespoke kitchen design and furniture manufacturer is based in South Hertfordshire and they are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Showroom Sales Coordinator to join their busy team. You will be responsible for spending time with customers in the showroom to guide them through their entire buying process. You will also be responsible for the extensive showroom display showing all their kitchen ranges and styles demonstrating the quality of their in-house made product, along with recommendations for appliance, sink & tap and worktop selection.

This position will ideally suit someone with previous experience of design and planning within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry. You will have been involved with a customer facing role and have an appreciation of the importance of listening to a client’s needs, asking appropriate questions and discovering their project needs.

You’ll need exemplary customer service and client facing skills as well as competency with the MS Office suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of ArtiCAD software would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Familiarity of liaising with both sales and installation teams, good administration skills, an appreciation of design plus a current driving licence will be required. Hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm plus working 1 out of 3 Saturdays (weekday off in lieu).

The Project Manager will be working as part of small Project Management team and the position would suit a candidate who wants to contribute to a growing enterprise and be part of a fun, family-led, often fast paced production company. You will gain fast, hands on experience assisting the existing Project Management team and then quickly moving to handling smaller projects working directly with new and existing clients.

With an educational background from a theatre based course ideally you’ll need some experience already gained in Project / Production Management, Stage / Event Management or Technical Theatre. You’ll have project management skills including working with a production workshop and must be able to effectively liaise with and manage clients and their expectations. You’ll be able to manage and realise projects from costings for budgets through to installation, whilst maintaining a high level of quality control along with a cost effective and ecological approach. This role requires a strong, driven and experienced sales individual to drive sales and profit with new and existing clients, whilst managing accounts and relationships proactively. Predominately covering the South East region, this is a field-based, customer centric role, in which the ideal candidate will employ a consultative approach, taking their influencing skills to clients directly.

Regularly meeting with customers, you will be equally as comfortable communicating with them on a one to one basis as you would be delivering presentations to a group of clients. The ability to listen, build rapport and use intuitive approaches to manage professional relationships with our highly regarded key accounts is essential to this role.

With a University degree, or the ability to demonstrate a good standard in literacy and numeracy, you’ll ideally come from a property development sales, associated construction industry, supply or interior design sales background. With experience in sales project management you’ll have a good understanding of continuous improvement techniques, lead generation and business development. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentational) will be needed along with the ability to operate self-sufficiently in a principally field based role. You’ll be organised, self-reliant, adept at prioritising, able to meet deadlines, demonstrate the potential to operate at a tactical level and show strategic thinking. Good computer literacy (specifically Excel) will also be needed.
