|Title||Interior Design Co-ordinator & Administrator, London|
We have filled this vacancy.
Immediate start. This small and highly creative interior design practice works for both private clients and developers on very high end, large properties within mostly the London area. The current project is a large rebuild in Hampstead and is at the final stages of decorating and installation. The Principal Designer is seeking an organised individual to take on the responsibility of all the soft furnishings and fabrics for this project. This will involve collating samples, scheduling, listing and handling suppliers and coordinating deliveries, running the design office and general administrative duties as required. Further projects will involve assisting with FF&E selection and some drawing and design work. They are seeking a candidate as a quick start for a full-time, permanent role but who can work on a self-employed basis and use their own laptop.
You will need at least 4 years’ experience working with an interior decorator on residential projects and used to dealing with suppliers on a variety of styles of fabrics and furnishings. Extremely organised and efficient you will need to be a good communicator, literate and numerate, enthusiastic and used to working to tight deadlines. An understanding of design and different styles is also important.
