An unusual opportunity has arisen for an Interior Designer who is attracted to a role designing decorative lighting. This people centric business designs, manufactures and supplies exceptional decorative lighting to the Hospitality and Residential sectors. They have a strong client base, regularly winning large projects to supply decorative lighting to major names within the hotel and restaurant sector.
You will be attending briefings with the clients’ designers to discuss their requirements and offering “intelligent” proposals based on your understanding of both the products and the spaces they will inhabit. You will then be creating the drawings and visuals for the manufacturing engineers to put into production drawings.
This highly creative and unusual role would suit an Interior Designer who has a genuine interest in decorative lighting and wants to work with prestigious clients in a company that is growing rapidly and has an exciting future.
Creative with great conceptualising skills you’ll have Interior Design experience within the hospitality sector. You’ll need excellent sketching and drawing skills plus the ability to translate an idea into 3D visuals. With good presentation and client handling skills you’ll be articulate and able to communicate designs / ideas clearly.
Salary is in the range of £25,000 to £45,000 dependent upon experience plus pension.
