From their riverside workshop in Berkshire, this company create elegant contemporary lighting to grace gorgeous hotels, restaurants and private residences worldwide. Their designs combine lightness and strength, exquisitely realised in hand-cut crystals, delicate metal chains, fine silks and hand-wrought metalwork. They are currently searching for a bright and self-starting Production Coordinator who will grow with them and who has the potential to become a future leader of the business.
Responsibilities will include: Keeping track of precious stock of lighting subcomponents; Organising the main workshop; Ensuring a high level of organisation, great housekeeping and minimal levels of WIP at all times; Planning production of in-house assembly team and batches for outworking; Planning purchase orders for supply of lighting components and chase purchase orders issued; Being the post-sales point of contact for all client orders; Being responsible for supplier development, negotiating prices and deadlines with suppliers; The installation and break-down of exhibition stands, showroom displays, photography sets and showcase displays.
Educated to degree level and with at least 4 years’ experience of production coordination or a similar position you’ll be organised, consistent and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll be confident, pro-active and able to work to tight deadlines hence you’ll possess a can do attitude, be a practical problem solver and be happy to roll your sleeves up to get the job done where needed. Experience of managing projects to deliver quality outcomes on time and to budget will be required alongside excellent IT skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
