It is for this department that are now looking to recruit a new Goods In Assistant. Working with the QC Manager, this role will allow an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as their Logistics operation and team grows in line with the rest of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities will include: preparing weekly goods-in reports; liaising with Production Managers about when orders are on track and ready; organising cost and time effective pick-ups from workshop; ensuring delivery notes are correct; unwrapping orders and co-ordinating returns for repairs; checking items for damage; ensuring there are drawings and samples of bespoke / custom orders; photographing every order and uploading images to the server; checking no parts are missing and logging QC results; managing stock management system, adding stock to inventory; managing and moving stock as required and packaging of lighting orders; keeping the Warehouse tidy; ensuring everything leaving has a signed collection note.

With a genuine interest in furniture and an appreciation for the luxury marketplace you’ll need good IT skills to include Microsoft Office and stock management systems. You’ll be flexible, self-motivated and keen to progress with great communication skills and also be an effective team player. Close attention to detail will be a prerequisite.
