This international, design-led office furniture manufacturer has a prominent showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell and is looking to fill a key position in their UK office. It is an exciting time for the company and the Lead Designer will take on a pivotal role for the company responsible for putting together bespoke designs integrating their class-leading furniture frame systems with locally sourced panels and associated elements.

As part of a small quality driven team you will be involved in all aspects of the business, from client enquiry through to fulfilment. It will be a role filled with great variety and excellent career prospects.

Literate in AutoCAD, SolidWorks (plus ideally PDM) and Excel you’ll have a good understanding of metal and timber surfaces plus experience with supply chain management. You’ll need strong project management and administration skills and be comfortable in meeting and interacting with clients.

This multi-disciplinary design business provides a range services for both the retail and commercial sectors and have offices in Manchester, London, Nottingham and the UAE. With new projects coming within the Banking Sector they are currently looking for an accomplished Interior Designer / Interior Architect that would be interested in working for Blue Chip clients from their London office.

With a minimum of three years’ retail design and / or office design experience (job running experience preferred) you’ll be a fast learner and a skilled and effective communicator with both written and spoken English. Self-motivated, bright and with demonstrable technical and creative abilities you’ll possess a high level of critical thinking. Experienced in carrying out site surveys, with knowledge of planning and building regulations you’ll be fluent in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (3D, Revit and BIM experience would be highly advantageous).

You’ll be highly personable and a great communicator with experience in coordinating the customer journey from conception to sale. With a strong sales background in kitchens, or similar within the interior design / KBB industry you’ll possess the ability to liaise with consumers, trade and commercial clients on a daily basis. You’ll need a strong design ability, a keen eye for detail plus design software aptitude.
