This specialist supplier to schools, academies, nurseries and libraries in the UK create inspiring spaces for readers which are fundamental to developing the reading habit. Although they are primarily seeking a Library Designer, there is also a business development requirement so you should have good commercial awareness and the vision to anticipate and satisfy customer needs.

You will work with prospective customers across the UK, to design exciting and innovative classroom and libraries reading areas from the conceptual design phase, using the products featured in their range, through to producing the finished drawings using CAD software. In addition, you will be integral to the introduction and design of new products to enhance the range, and to designing bespoke focal pieces for large scale installations.

The role is considered to be a key one and the post holder will establish trust, confidence and rapport with customers in order to fully meet their requirements within agreed timescales and budgets.

They are seeking a formal relevant design qualification and minimum of two years’ experience of furniture / interior design. You’ll be a confident and commercially astute designer, competent with SketchUp, InDesign, Excel and Word. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll need to be a creative ideas person with an imaginative mind. A full clean driving licence is essential.

This interior design consultancy has a large portfolio of clients throughout the UK and Europe and are well known for their knowledge of workplace design. They are continuingly growing and expanding their team which has resulted in the need for a Mid-weight Designer to join it. The offices are close to public transport and has close links to the M40, there is also the benefit of onsite parking.

As a designer you will be involved in the conceptual design, space planning, working drawings, designing of bespoke furniture and joinery, specifying, attending presentations, coordinating and liaising with contractors and suppliers, attending site meeting and completion of project.

You’ll need to be a creative designer with at least 4 year’s interior design experience which should include workplace design. Relevant product, furniture and finishes knowledge will be required as well as commercially awareness and proficiency in AutoCAD and/or VectorWorks, Photoshop and InDesign.

They are a large team of passionate, committed professionals who excel in delivering a personable, yet professional service and are currently seeking a Design Account Manager to join the team.

This role requires a strong, driven and experienced sales individual to drive sales and profit with new and existing clients, whilst managing accounts and relationships proactively. Predominately covering the South East region, this is a field-based, customer centric role, in which the ideal candidate will employ a consultative approach, taking their influencing skills to clients directly.

Regularly meeting with customers, you will be equally as comfortable communicating with them on a one to one basis as you would be delivering presentations to a group of clients. The ability to listen, build rapport and use intuitive approaches to manage professional relationships with our highly regarded key accounts is essential to this role.

With a University degree, or the ability to demonstrate a good standard in literacy and numeracy, you’ll ideally come from a property development sales, associated construction industry, supply or interior design sales background. With experience in sales project management you’ll have a good understanding of continuous improvement techniques, lead generation and business development. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentational) will be needed along with the ability to operate self-sufficiently in a principally field based role. You’ll be organised, self-reliant, adept at prioritising, able to meet deadlines, demonstrate the potential to operate at a tactical level and show strategic thinking. Good computer literacy (specifically Excel) will also be needed.
