Based on the West Sussex and Surrey Borders they are on the hunt for two experienced Designers with a proven track record and that understand joinery and manufacturing. You will be both developing concepts for housebuilders and taking design drawings from architects / interior designers to develop them into detailed manufacturing drawings and issue them to the CNC machinist.

The successful candidates will be expected to undertake the design and development of bespoke furniture from concept stage through to manufacture, including material and component specifications, production of prototypes and drawings as necessary to suit the brief. You’ll have at least 5 years’ industry experience within a similar environment and be competent in using 3D software (SolidWorks) with good 3D visualisation and rendering skills an advantage. You’ll need a high level of attention to detail and will be expected to have good technical draughting skills. Finally, you’ll possess the interpersonal skills to maintain customer-facing relationships and be able to advise them on design finishes.

They are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Cabinet Maker who has a good eye for detail. You should have a passion for making high-end furniture and be skilled in using a variety of materials. This is an ideal position for a person who is creative and enjoys making custom cabinetry from conception to creation.

You’ll have experience and be confident with the use of wood-working machinery and able to work from CAD production drawings (Veneering experience would be also preferable).
