This small family-run company specialise in Experiential Design, Production and Installation and are proud to count large brands and leading marketing agencies amongst their clients. Providing a range of services from exhibition stands, product launches and bespoke sampling stands to PR stunts, sampling bins and giant props, the company is theatrical in its approach and enjoys encouraging both clients and staff to be different. This dog loving team are based near the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire, they have just created this new role to help in their growing business and seek an individual who can support the Creative Director, Producers and Production Team.

The job entails: Supporting with proposals, pitches, design costings, admin, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and negotiating prices, liaising with internal teams and the workshop; CAD Drawings – reading, amending and interpreting; Design interpretation to create mood boards if required and basic visualisations; Illustrator – create artwork for print, check artwork files from clients ahead of sending to print and proof-check received print for errors; Practical tasks in the workshop – prop making, finishing, vinyling and painting to sewing, spraying and basic carpentry; CNC – Creation of CNC files and supervising CNC machine when requested; Admin – typing up RAMS documents as requested, ensuring work in progress photos are saved into the correct correspondence / photos folders; Social Media – assisting with daily social media stories; Staffing – recruiting new subcontractors, updating availability / task sheets, booking sub-contract staff and placing orders; Suppliers – liaising with suppliers and negotiating best prices; Keeping in-house quoting software up-to-date.

With a minimum education to A Level standard (ideally Degree level would be good), you’ll have experience of using a CAD software package and CNC files. Good office administration skills will be needed alongside IT competency and Adobe Illustrator skills. Able to demonstrate a hands-on approach at all times you’ll be a team-player, highly organised and flexible in your approach. You’ll understand how to work in a fast-paced environment with the ever-changing demands of high-end brands and clients. Lastly a full clean driving licence will be needed.
