Our award-winning, privately owned client is a luxury residential developer specialising in bespoke homes in the Home Counties. They seek a Senior Interior Architect with expertise in high-end residential development who would be responsible for projects from concept / planning stages through to completion. Projects would cover all aspects of interior architecture and specification including floor plans, kitchens, bathrooms and joinery. You will be working with clients, dealing with trades and contractors and managing all procurement for the projects including independent and pro-active sourcing of goods.

The role of the Senior Interior Architect will encompass all aspects of the internal design to include: floor plans and spatial planning; kitchens & utility rooms; bathrooms, comprising bespoke vanity units, joinery and technical co-ordination of sanitaryware; wardrobes & dressing areas; joinery to living rooms, reception rooms, studies and media units; specialist wall & ceiling coverings including panelling, plaster mouldings, cornices, and coffered ceilings; staircase design and specification; communal areas including reception areas, underground car parks, stairwells and lifts; M&E including lighting and electrical plans.

They run an employee led environment allowing you to have your say, generate ideas and make a difference. The office is in a beautiful newly erected oak frame barn with over 3,000 sq.ft. of office, design and employee social space. They have regular social events and team activities (Winter & Summer parties / events, pub nights and activity days).

With strong technical knowledge and at least 7 – 10 years’ experience in high-end residential design, you’ll need excellent project management skills (organisation and prioritisation) and a sense of style, quality, colour and proportion. Knowledge and experience of suppliers, products and materials will be needed along with technical site experience (working and co-ordinating with contractors). You should also possess excellent AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office and presentation skills.

Salary is in the range of £40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus (up to 20% based upon company and personal performance), laptop, phone and 32 days paid holiday (including bank holidays).
