This company manufactures and installs exquisite handcrafted kitchens from the finest materials, where attention to detail and craftsmanship are vital to their business. They are currently looking for Showroom Managers for two of their showrooms where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the showroom, promoting awareness of the Showroom locally plus taking ownership of the Showrooms business objectives and targets. One of the showrooms is just south of Coventry, the other in Cambridge.
Day-to-day activities will include: managing the showroom and room sets; keeping all staff rotas up-to-date and carrying out the ongoing training of part-time staff; ensuring all leads and appointments have had the correct paperwork; liaising with the relevant Sales Designers regarding the status of current appointments; holding monthly team meetings; working closely with the group’s marketing department to organise mail shots to potential clients; organising special events for the showroom to generate further foot flow into the showroom and to open up networking opportunities.
Computer literate, you’ll be able to speak knowledgably and in a confident manner to clients, sales designers and all other interested parties about the products and business. You’ll have experience of working in a showroom (greeting customers) and be capable of taking the initiative to help ensure the success of the showroom. You’ll need to be well-organised, smart in appearance and able to initiate and maintain good working relationships with both colleagues and clients.
