This company manufacture and supply high quality contract furniture for hotels, private rented sector apartments, serviced apartments and student accommodation. With over 35 years’ experience, the company works with major brands in both the UK and Dubai markets. They currently have an opening for a Junior Project Coordinator to assist on a variety of projects coordinating and managing the production of furniture for various contract projects. You will be selecting and ordering furniture and accessories for private clients and may occasionally be asked to work on residential interior schemes. All relevant training will be provided as part of the role.
Responsibilities of the Junior Project Co-ordinator also include: Producing shop drawings of furniture for client approval and factory production; Management of aspects of assigned projects from initial stages through to installation and aftersales; Managing the processing and ordering of project specifications alongside the Procurement and Sales Coordinator; Producing furniture delivery schedules for the Delivery and Fitting team (depending on project).
With a degree or higher level qualification in a design related subject you’ll have good organisational and communication skills and the ability to work in a calm manner under pressure and not afraid to multi-task as and when required. You’ll definitely need AutoCAD 2D, Excel and Word skills (knowledge of Xero Accounting, Photoshop and PowerPoint would be good but these are not essential). They are looking for someone with initiative and resourcefulness. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
